My name is Steve Kenny born and raised in Maryland and working in Washington D.C., a passionate home cook turned Sous Chef! My current job is in Adams Morgan, DC as a Sous Chef at a neighborhood French bistro focusing on local farms and ingredients. While I am I relatively new to the food industry I have been blessed with some pretty incredible opportunities. From cooking amongst Maryland's top chefs at the Four Seasons for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to working a 9 Course dinner at the James Beard House in New York! I pride myself on being the hardest working person in the room and happily work long hours in order to continue my culinary education. If I had to classify my personal style I would have describe it as New American with classic French techniques. While I did not attend culinary school I do have my Bachelors Degree in Business Management which I feel gives me a unique perspective in the kitchen in managing product as well as people. I am eagerly awaiting my next culinary adventure wherever it may take me, near or far, I have zero restrictions on location just so long as it's a challenging and educating opportunity.
