Chef Job in Des Moines, Iowa

Molly's Cupcakes is expanding to Des Moines and is in need of an Executive Pastry Chef! Full-time, salaried chef will be in charge of the production of all batters, frostings, fillings, doughs, baked goods and ice cream. Chef will also be decorating made-to-order cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies, etc. Chef will perform weekly ordering of all ingredients and supplies for the kitchen, while being cost efficient and maintaining systematic inventory levels. Must be a team leader willing to communicate with and delegate well to kitchen staff. Will be managing and scheduling a staff of up to 12 employees and is ultimately responsible for the quality and presentation of all products made daily. Attention to detail and recipe consistency is required. Chef must have the ability to take direction well from Owners and maintain a positive, productive working environment.
