Come to camp this summer and have FUN at work! Children's summer camp in Hackensack is looking for an exemplary role model who loves children and working in the outdoors! Shingobee Timbers specializes in serving girls ages 6- 17, offering more than 40 programs in aquatics, art, biking, canoeing and kayaking, environmental education, leadership development, and climbing. We hire a staff of 22 who hail from many different states and countries on the globe. Our staff members truly function as one big family and we work effectively together as a close-knit team to make camp a wonderful place for kids. Dates of employment for the 2015 season are May 30- August 11. Minimum age: 21 Must be able to pass a criminal background check (paid for by employer) Must remain on site from Sunday afternoon through Friday afternoon. Room, board, health insurance, and laundry facilities included free of charge. ServSafe certification preferred, but not required. Knowledge of home-cooked meals in quantity, ordering, inventorying, and budgeting required. Ability to lead the food service team, true interest in creating delectable meals, a sense of humor, and the ability to have fun are essential characteristics! Compensation: $3000 for the season with free room, board, health insurance, laundry facilities and internet- all free.
