After long days as working professionals, we're all too familiar with the dilemma that occurs at dinner time- cook a nice dinner or throw something frozen in the oven or microwave? Grab takeout or make reservations? From a health and budget perspective, cooking something ourselves is always the best option, but after we've bought the groceries, prepped the ingredients, cooked and cleaned up, it's taken up too much of my time and we're often left with more than we can eat... If only we didn't have to do this EVERY time we wanted a home cooked meal. Introducing Rightovers. . . Now, on nights you decide you have the time AND desire to cook you can be connected with neighbours that don't. By posting your cooking intentions on the Rightovers website, your meal plans (what your cooking, the ingredients, portions available and what time they will be ready) will be shared within your geographical vicinity. Neighbours will then be notified and have the opportunity, via the website or mobile application, to reserve and purchase a serving. When dinner is ready the two parties agree to meet at an assigned location (condominium lobby or front door) and exchange the meal for payment. After the meal is consumed, the eater will be asked to complete a quick survey on its quality and value and the reviews will be posted on the cooks profile for the reference of future eaters. We are currently gearing up for launch and are looking for passionate and talented home-cooks who are willing to share their favorite culinary delights with neighbours.
