Company: Sweet IRB Bakery Location: 311 Gulf Blvd #5, Indian Rock Beach Florida Position: Pastry Cook - Full Time Position Summary: The Pastry Cook’s role is to participate and contribute to the tasks required to produce both the retail and wholesale products offered from Sweet IRB. The Pastry Cook reports to and works directly for the Head Pastry Chef. Hours of Employment: Sunday – Thursday, Full time 40 hours a week, with Friday/Saturday Off Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday 11:00 Am to 7:00 pm Position Activities includes, but not limited to, the following: Daily opening tasks of the bakery including assembling case items such as cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, etc. Preparing breakfast menu items such as breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, croissants, biscuits/gravy Making Bagels, Pie Crusts, Pie Pockets, Biscuits, Bread and other savory bakery items. Ingredient Prep tasks including but not limited to: chopping vegetables, nuts, cookies or any other items needed to produce baked goods. Bulk making of icing and cake fillings, chocolate peanut butter pieces and other weekly prep Baking of standard products per training and recipes Assembling of baked good to standards and visual specifications Packaging and labeling of product to be delivered to both retail and wholesale outlets Dish washing and other kitchen cleaning activities Barista and Store Front Operations Other duties as assigned and related to the creation of Sweet IRB baked products Other Job Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 25lbs Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to work the schedule hours each week Must be able to work quickly, multi-task Must be able to pass the Service Mark training within 90 days of employment Must be able to work around peanuts, dairy, flour, spices and eggs Qualifications: Previous Bakery or Cook experience preferred.
