Chef Job in Chicago, Illinois

We are seeking a part-time cook to assist with a growing corporate catering program as well as general assistance throughout the holidays. The right applicant will be capable of following directions, working independently, and dealing well with high pressure situations. We are looking for someone with at least two years of kitchen experience and preferably a culinary school graduate. You must have a valid serve safe license, a set of your own knives, and reliable transportation. The position is highly variable including some weekday work and weekend work for events. Compensation is $15 an hour while working in the kitchen and $30 an hour while working on-site at events. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing boutique catering company that could turn into a full-time position for the right candidate.
