Looking for a partner/executive chef that is interested in starting a unique restaurant in the Denver area. The main culinary background desired is Asian with a mixture of American Steakhouse and Mexican fusion dishes. Experience running a kitchen is required and at least a basic understanding of business, finance, and operations is a must. The ideal candidate will be someone that is willing to work beyond 40 hours (once the restaurant becomes fully operational), is comfortable with managing all aspects of the kitchen, and is also able to step out of the kitchen to represent the restaurant at marketing events, business meetings, interviews/hiring, growth opportunities, and deliberations between partners. The ability to network is highly desirable. Having a genial personality and a genuine passion for what we are attempting to create are the most important qualities. We will be seeking funding from investment banks, private investors, and pitching our idea to many people that are able to provide us with the capital to become a functioning business. This is a start-up, and equity is the only form of compensation. If you are seeking a salary, this is not a posting for you.
