As a Canadian trained Chef I started my career at George Brown College and then apprenticed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. After Whistler I worked in a few different cooking jobs ( Victoria, Empress, Jasper Park Lodge ) and settled down in Tofino, B.C on Vancouver Island. In Tofino I worked at the Wickaninnish Inn for 3 years and then had my own café/restaurant at the Tofino Botanical Gardens for 4 years.
With cooking experience with my friends at SoBo restaurant, I went on as opening Chef at Shelter restaurant for the next few years. My last
4 years in Tofino has been operating the healthy lunch program at the Wickaninnish Elementary School cooking for 120 kids each day.
