Watching my father cook back in Brazil, I quickly learnt, from a young age, the importance of cooking with fresh ingredients for a well balanced diet. When arriving in the US, I lived in NYC for 6 long winters, there I worked as a full time nanny and quickly discovered my love for taking care of people. Sure enough I started working with catering over the weekends and that’s when I discovered the magic of creating food in a professional kitchen. I attended about 8 recreational classes at The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), and that’s when I realized I wanted to cook professionally as a Chef. Culinary School came as the most important accomplishment to my culinary ladder, of which I climb a little more everyday. As I keep growing in my career, being a Private Chef is where my heart is. Taking care of a family through my food is my ultimate goal, and I am honored with each opportunity I get. On a personal note, I am a big believer in positive energy , I’m also an animal lover and advocate, proud owner of two dogs and two cats. I love traveling and discovering all the incredible food and spices the world has to offer. I love the beach, and I also love the mountains, it reminds me of home, I grew up in Rio de Janeiro where Geography is very rich. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, seafood is my favorite thing to cook, thyme and rosemary are my favorite herbs to cook with, specially when I take them from my own herb garden.
