After graduating the Culinary Institute of America, I worked in many prestigious locations in high level kitchen positions. I opened a full service retail gourmet shop/bakery and catering operation, one that thrived in the sophisticated metropolitan towns of Essex County New Jersey for 23 years. Mardi Gras served a discriminating and celebrity clientele in the tri state area, delivering superior quality, consistency, punctuality, enticing presentation and well informed, accommodating, efficient customer service. I enjoyed long term relationships with employees, vendors and clients, had many magazine, newspaper and television spots and ran a satisfyingly successful business which I sold in 2007. I have been a private chef ever since, drawing mostly from my previous customer base, and find so much personal contentment in this job. My lengthy list of experiences in so many fine homes, serving so many their dream menus, has honed my entertaining skills, as has my recent graduation from Starkey International Institute for estate management. My gastronomic range is extreme specializing in Classical European, Mediterranean, regional comfort foods, vegetarian, irresistible pastries and just fresh, carefully sourced unprocessed, nourishing fare . I’m interested in a full time position, available to travel and am organized, impassioned, discreet and easy going. I love what I do and am anxious to make a delectable difference in the life of a Principal, couple or family.
