Position: Short Order Cook and Baker for our East Van Coffee Lounge Start Date: Immediately Time Requirements: Full Time / Part Time We are seeking an experienced food compatriot for our kitchenette who is jazzed about handcrafted sandwiches. We'd love to chat with you if you: • a clear thinker, able to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment • has a thorough knowledge of roasting meats, making condiments and pastry baking • able to set and meet production schedules for service periods • willing to work flexible shifts that can be either quite late or before dawn • ability to be fast and efficient and never show you are sweatin’ it. • multi-tasker is your middle name • totally into keeping things super clean and organized • willing and able to learn, up your game and keep an open mind to input • value family, friends and community with the highest regard Must Have: • Must possess a passion for food and developing knowledge of all cooking methods. • Food Safe Level 1.
