Chef Job in Thurmont, Maryland

Camps Airy & Louise is a 100 year-old overnight summer camp located in the Catoctin Mountains of western Maryland. We are seeking cooks to work at 6 days and weekends in May/September. Experience with large group food service a plus. Teamwork, flexibility and commitment to maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment meeting all health code standards, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for providing excellent food and great customer service are all qualities of a strong candidate. Must adhere to State of Maryland Health Department and American Camp Association Standards. Dates: Beginning April 27, 2023 COOK / BAKER Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): actively prepping, cooking and baking; preparing a variety of meats, poultry, vegetables, baked goods, and other food items; cleaning; looking for individuals who will try different homemade recipes, as well as standard institutional fare. Minimum 3 years experience.
