Chef in Torrance, California

I'm an
Individual
I am an experienced and talented private chef, passionate about fine food and wine. Besides crafting dishes based upon my own recipes for over 20 years, I am very skilled at creating delicious and healthy meals tailored to your specific tastes and needs, ranging from hearty breakfasts to formal, gourmet quality dinners (including vegetarian and vegan dishes), as well as heavenly desserts. During the past four years I have been serving families residing in the South Bay and Beverly Hills area. My duties included working as a personal chef, executive housekeeper and house organizer. For some of the families I also transported their children to after school activities and provided babysitting as well. I owned and operated a highly rated Antigua Cafe, International Deli & Catering; a gourmet cuisine restaurant professionally reviewed by Merrill Schindler (a well-recognized culinary critic, kindly view this YouTube link: https://....be). His review of my restaurant can also be read here: https://....com. Antigua Cafe description, photographs and numerous, additional customer reviews are available upon request. I am very energetic, outgoing and friendly, always respectful of others and extremely well-organized perfectionist. I work well under pressure and I excel at multitasking (seeing as I used to run my own restaurant, therefore I am also a good team player). I am very calm and patient with children (I raised four daughters), elderly persons and all people in general, as well as with their pets (I own two rescue dogs and three rescue cats). I traveled extensively in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Mexico, Guatemala and Canada where I explored and enjoyed local food and wine. This greatly enriched my experience as a chef and gave me a lot of new, creative ideas. My cooking skills are based upon a natural talent, and a great passion for crafting gourmet quality meals for my family, friends, and for the customers at my restaurant, Antigua Café for over 20 years. I was already cooking at the age of 12. The first teacher was my grandmother who worked as a chef for the US embassy in Guatemala City. She also owned a restaurant and a coffee plantation in Antigua, Guatemala. Antigua is a magical, ancient town, a UNESCO World Heritage place, surrounded by three huge volcanoes). It is also known for its world class coffee beans. I am also an experienced barista, therefore brewing highest quality coffee is one of my specialties, and Antigua Guatemala, high altitude, naturally sweet coffee is my favorite beverage.
