Chef Job in La Porte, Indiana

Coordinate and administer all food prep, presentation and service procedures as directed by the Executive Chef. Ensure proper rotation and utilization of stored food to prevent waste. Oversee food prep to ensure proper consistency, flavor, presentation and portion control. Monitor team member performance, provide instruction as needed, and monitor staffing levels. Minimum of one year similar experience preferred. Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of shift; must be able to lift, carry and maneuver up to 40 lbs. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications. $1,000 bonus after 90 days of employment and $1,500 bonus after 180 days of employment. eoe
