Zeeland Street is a well-known Baton Rouge restaurant that has been in business for 25 years. We specialize in Southern Cuisine: Creole, Cajun, and Soul Foods. We are looking for ambitious cooks who want to show their skills at a well-established restaurant with a great history. We are looking for an established chef who has a minimum of 5 years of experience in a variety of spheres and who has been cross-trained to be able to work as a grill cook, salad cook, meat preparer, and general head chef. We cook mainly from scratch with fresh ingredients, so are looking for a cook who is experienced in that field, i.e. not Sysco pre-made items. Preferably with at least 1 year's experience in a management position. If you are ambitious, have fresh ideas that you'd like to bring to an established restaurant, and have a passion for bringing delicious foods to customers we would love to meet you!
