For more info on our venue please Google: SALA Santa Ana Position: Project Chef Location: Santa Ana, CA Employment Type: Contract Basis Start Date: As Soon As Practical Duration: Upon delivery and execution of menu Job Summary: As the Project Chef, you will lead our culinary team in crafting unique and innovative menu for our special event space. This project will involve creating dynamic dishes that celebrates the fusion of diverse flavors and premium ingredients, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the executive team to develop and curate a menu for the project. * Oversee the entire culinary process, from ingredient sourcing to preparation and presentation. * Execute and refine recipes to achieve outstanding flavors and textures. * Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during the project. * Lead and inspire the culinary team to achieve excellence in every aspect of the project. * Liaise with suppliers to source the finest and freshest ingredients. * Conduct tastings and food trials to fine-tune the menu and achieve perfection. * Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into the project. * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment throughout the project. * Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to accommodate any changes in the project's scope. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Chef with a strong culinary background. * A deep passion for food and an unwavering commitment to quality. * Creative flair and the ability to experiment with flavors and textures. * Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team to deliver exceptional results. * Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project timelines. * In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and menu development. * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members. * Food Safety Certification (preferred but not required).
