Chef Job in Commerce, Texas

The office of Intercultural Engagement & Leadership at Texas A&M University-Commerce is seeking a chef to host a cooking demonstration for authentic Indian Cuisine. Part of our focus is to develop programs for our students that celebrate and expose students to different cultures. We began a series last year called “Pass the Plate” that serves as a cooking demonstration. What we typically do is demonstrate to the students how the food is made and we also cater the event so that the students then get to actually eat what they were demonstrated. The date we are seeking is 5:30pm-8pm Wednesday, April 26th, 2023. We will compensate for the service as well as the catered food for about 30 people.
