Chef Job in Loves Park, Illinois

I am writing to you on behalf of our son who lives in Rockford. As a Christmas present, my wife and I want to give him personal chef prepared meals in his apartment for the entire 2022 year. We are looking at two dinners each week, which often might require only one “on-site” visit by the chef. The focus of the dinners would be on animal proteins including eggs, vegetables and fruits. Our son’s own cooking tends to focus on pastas and pizza; he will have ample carbohydrates in the other five dinners that he prepares each week. For my wife and me, food is the center of our lives – preparing it and consuming it. Our preference is for him to eat organic food, although we understand that is not always possible. We know that the standard model is for the personal chef to do the shopping; however, we would like to be involved in the purchase of the items. He has an account at Woodman’s which we would use for most of the items. Is this something that you are willing to change from the standard model? We would also like to provide the condiments and seasonings that you would use because of some health-related issues for our son. We can share with you a list of the seasonings and condiments in his kitchen – or send you photos of the containers. Any sauces, gravies, etc. would need to be prepared using these items. We can assure you that there is an extensive array of options It is our understanding that you would bring your own pots and pans, use his range and oven and clean up afterwards. He does have some special pans (example: meatloaf) which he would have to clean up himself when it was used for a two-dinner preparation. What would be the next step? Do we suggest some menus? Or do you propose menus? We know what he likes – and what he dislikes. For example, he does not like any fish or seafood. Nor does he like mushrooms. What would be your estimate of the charges for your expertise each week? Should you be interested in pursuing this endeavor, we can provide substantially more details on his needs and desires.
