Business address: #8 7070 Market St, Port Hardy, BC, V0N 2P0 Work Location: same as above Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Prepare and cook full course meals • Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods • Plan menus • Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions • Work with minimal supervision • Estimate food requirements and costs • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Order supplies and equipment • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.) • Clean kitchen and work areas • Wash dishes Requirements: - Education: Completion of high school - Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience OR if candidate does not have 3 years of experience a cooking post-secondary certificate is required Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 hourly, 40 Hours per week.
