Business Address: Suite 104, 2 Herald Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 4B5 Work Location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full-time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Clean kitchen and work areas Oversee kitchen operations Operate specific appliances in the kitchen specific to the menu Weigh and measure ingredients for cooking Prepare sauces and garnishes for the allocated station Serve food in keeping with the standards of the establishment Constantly use safe and hygienic food-handling practices Requirements: -Education: Completion of secondary school is required. -Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook is required. Accommodation is provided at a discounted rate. Uniform is provided. Important Information: The work schedule is 5 working days per week on a rotational basis from 11 AM to 7 PM.
