Business Address: 400 Duke Point Hwy, Nanaimo, BC V9X 1H9 Work location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full Time / Part time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards Describe menu items including daily specials for customers Advise on menu selections Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff Serve food and beverages Address customers' complaints or concerns Balance cash and record sales Clean and clear tables, trays and chairs Assist clients/guests with special needs Provide customer service Requirements Education: No education is required. Completion of High school is an asset. Experience: Will train – On-the-job training is provided Standing for extended periods Weight lift: up to 10 pounds Food safe certificate is an asset The candidate must have his/her own reliable transportation as we are not on a bus route. Salary: $ 14.65-16... hourly, 30 to 40 Hours per week Benefits: On-the-job training, gas pay: $2 per shift Other Information: Work schedule: shifts 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 12:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Shifts include week-ends and evenings. 2 days off per week, on a rotational basis.
