Chef Job in Highland, Utah

Compensation: $34,000 annual salary (Paid on 10' and 25" of each month) Job Summary: This role will serve as the Personal Chef to a recent widow and her family. You may have a unique opportunity to receive additional training in California as needed. You will help create a diverse menu through the use of high-quality seasonal ingredients to craft healthy meals in a private family home. Responsibilities: • Plan menus and shop for ingredients • Attend additional training on how to prepare meals following strict dietary needs • Prepare meals according to family's dietary needs and preferences • Cook meals in the family's home • Occasionally prepare meals for group gatherings and events • Clean up the kitchen and maintain kitchen equipment • Interact with the family to ensure satisfaction • Other duties as needed Qualifications: Education •Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts • Professional culinary training or certificate is desirable •Food safety training or certification preferred Experience • 2 years of culinary or cooking experience Physical Demands You can spend long hours standing while preparing food • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds •This position will also require occasional travel, may include travel for training purposes Skills & Additional Requirements •Willingness to work flexible hours (potential Tuesday Saturday) Valid driver's license and good driving record Complete and absolute integrity is a must
