Chef Job in Austin, Texas

Two busy tech executives located in Austin, Texas (Bouldin Creek) are seeking for a Private Chef for 3x/week. The schedule will be Mondays and Thursdays. The 3rd day would be Wednesday or Tuesday, but ideally could flex depending on their schedule. Dinner should be served around 8:00 pm generally. Typically will be for 2, though at times (1-2 times/month, maybe for as many as 8 depending on guests/dinner parties). The Chef does not need to clean up after themselves, they can just lightly rinse/prep everything for their Housekeeper to take care of. Their Housekeeper can also do the shopping for the food items or the Chef do the shopping. They are seeking a Chef that specialized in French cuisine, or at minimum a French-trained chef. Clients also have a place in Paris and spend about half their time there – so both classic and contemporary French cuisine are the ideal meals they are looking for (especially given the void of this in Austin’s restaurant scene). They both have fairly open-minded palettes and enjoy a variety of different cuisine (Japanese/Italian/Mediterranean follow closely behind French cooking). No dietary restrictions. Chef candidates must definitely have 1-2 years experience working in private residences. The salary range is flexible based on experience. Starts ASAP.
