Chef Job in Chicago, Illinois

Eating To Live is looking to hire a Chef to teach healthy cooking classes at a local after school program, at a far south side Chicago Public School. Chef must be able to work with a group of 15 students, be able to pass a background check, and must have reliable transportation. The chef will be responsible for shopping for supplies for class. Classes are twice per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. (2:45pm to 4:45pm.) Classes begin the week of April 15th and end May 23rd. I'm offering $40.00 HOURLY for the right person. This is a 1099 position and payroll is every week. Chef must like children and have the patience to work with young people. If the Chef performs well, there are similar opportunities available this summer and next school year.
