Ciao Grazie Scottsdale and Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) is looking for team oriented, experienced cooks. Formal Restaurant Management training is also provided for motivated staff members. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF COOK STAFF Responsibilities of Cook • Ability to follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving food items • Follow menus, estimate food requirements, and maintains highest quality • Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment • Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices • Supervise junior kitchen staff • Other duties as assigned by restaurant manager • Ensure walk-in freezers/cooler are clean and organized • On a nightly basis, ensure food dates are current, not expired, and set up food rotation to use oldest dates first • Ensure coolers are set a proper temperatures as prescribed by regulation Requirements: • Previous Kitchen Management/Supervision experience a plus • Experience working in a restaurant environment a plus • Enjoy working with people • Self-motivated and highly-energetic with a great attitude • Great communication skills • Must possess Food Handler's Card • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to lift up to 50lbs We offer 401k, Profit Sharing, and Employee Discounts (Wellness Benefits are coming new in 2016).
