Chef Job in Ottawa, Ontario

I am looking for a chef to join our team for a casual chef position that will expand into 1-3 full days a week in September (Monday-Wednesday). Training will begin in August. There is a possibility for you to start sooner on an as needed basis if that works for you. We are a personal chef service and we cook in a commercial kitchen in Kanata making healthy comfort food for families around Ottawa. We cook Monday to Wednesday between 8am and 3pm. We are a relaxed group of 3 mature chefs and we are looking to invite a 4th chef to come and join us. You will be needed most Mondays, and some/many Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays (with fair notice given so that you can organize your life:-). Because this is a CUSTOM meal service, this position requires very close attention to detail and very clear thinking as well as good organizational skills and patience. We have fast paced busy days but this is more relaxed than a large volume restaurant kitchen, so a welcome shift for someone looking to change up from late night/weekend, high stress hours to daytime/weekdays.
