My name is Emma and ​I work for Stock the House, a startup new to Vermont. Our mission is to provide a user-friendly platform that connects vacation home renters​ ​and bed and breakfast, inn, hotel, and motel owners​ with concierge entrepreneurs in order to access all of the local goods and services that they need while traveling away from home. This service cultivates a quality, white-glove, lifestyle experience for the vacationer, while developing a vendor network that promotes the value of buying local. We also strive to exemplify a culture that celebrates diversity, encourages entrepreneurship, supports flexibility, and seeks to stay ahead of lifestyle and social trends. ​ ​W​e are currently looking to expand our vendor network, specifically for personal/private chefs the Woodstock and Quechee areas of Vermont. ​There are no fees associated with joining our vendor network; it's totally free. As of right now, becoming a member of our vendor network is just a "gentleman's agreement" of sorts, as there is no official paperwork you need to fill out. If you do choose to become a vendor for us, we have an option for you to become a preferred vendor - this means that you become the first vendor we go to when a customer ​in your area ​needs ​personal chef ​services. In exchange for this priority listing in our vendor network, you would offer us a discount on your services.
