I provide full in home meal service as well as prepared food service delivery in a variety of vegan cuisines. I have always cooked, drawing from my Sicilian heritage to prepare fresh simple meals from what is grown in your own garden. My appreciation for global cuisine began with my first dining experience at Sea Thai in Williamsburg, NY in 2004. I became obsessed with cooking Thai food, and thus began my tendency to fuse global cuisines. At a vegan retreat in Belize, my first international excursion, I learned the power of fresh foods and flavors from Central America. After visiting Prague I began incorporating new subtle flavor combinations, spices and presentation styles. Traveling and living in India and apprenticing with a local master chef from the Pushti Marg tradition, known for its culinary extravagance and seasonal specialties, taught me the importance of eating fresh (never leftovers), improvising without refridgeration and modern appliances, and food as both medicine and love. More recently through Mathew Kenney’s cuisine I have become inspired by the fusion of eastern and western cuisines and particularly Japanese influence.
