I'm a North County San Diego based chef with a passion for healthy, California inspired cuisine. After earning a degree in nutrition and spending 6 years as a food scientist, I saw first hand how processed and unnatural most of our packaged food is, and I've since spent every spare moment focusing on whole foods and plant-based recipes. While I cook mostly plant-based cuisine, I am not a strict vegan or vegetarian, and believe more in balance, and a "mostly" plant-based approach for optimal health and wellness. If you're looking for a chef who's going to load up on vegan cheese and plant-based "meats," I'm not your chef! I take extra steps to create food that's satisfying and indulgent without relying on processed shortcuts to create a truly magical culinary experience, no matter what your dietary preferences or needs are. I've won multiple awards for my recipes, and am deeply passionate about changing the narrative around vegan, vegetarian, and flexitarian cuisine. I offer weekly meal services, cooking classes, catering services, corporate team building experiences, and everything in-between.
