What I do - I know that between work, family and trying to have a life it is often more practical to eat out or buy quick easy pre-made foods from the grocery store. I want you to spend time on yourself and with your friends & family, while still having the option of healthy home cooked meals. My job is to do whatever I can to make this easier for you. Whether it's making you 1 to 5 dinners a week, healthy snacks, boxed lunches for work, or just some advice. I use my diverse restaurant and culinary background to help you have meals for yourself and your family in any way I can. About me- I found my passion for food at a young age in rural NY State. Raised in a farming family, I grew up in the kitchen with Grandma and in the garden with Grandpa. I spent summers with them making pancakes with blueberries fresh from the garden and canning more tomatoes then I care to think about. After high school I followed my passion and attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY. Here I earned my Associates and Bachelor’s degrees in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. After graduating I moved South, starting my career in Charleston SC where I worked for a large catering company. From there I moved to Asheville NC and worked for The Biltmore Estate. After a brief stint in Raleigh I moved back home to Upstate NY where I worked for a boutique luxury hotel in my hometown of Hamilton. Now I am back in The South and finally ready to let my roots spread while soaking up the sunshine.
