Originally a self taught chef, I decided to apply my years of experience by first opening my own food blog and business called Meerz Kitchen. However, my desire for a more professional experience led me to pursuing a culinary certification which opened the doors to many forms of work.
This has led me to roles in commercial kitchens, restaurants, and as a culinary instructor. I am not only looking to build or apply these skills but hoping to gain new ones.
Currently, I want to experience being part of a team in a restaurant but am also open to private work for those looking to experience some of my work! I am experienced in East Asian (Chinese / Korean), South Asian, and American cuisines.
