I'm Dimitris Politakis, a highly skilled and passionate chef from Athens, Greece, with over nine years of extensive experience in the culinary world. My journey has taken me through prestigious restaurants, fine dining establishments, catering services, banquet centers, and the unique challenges of being a private and yacht chef. In my recent ventures, I've served as a yacht chef on Freedom M/Y (2021 - ...) and My Way / Estia Yi M/Y (2021 - ...), where I thrived in high-pressure environments, catering to diverse and sophisticated palates amidst the breathtaking beauty of Greece's islands. My participation in the Master Chef gr competition in the winter of 2022, where I reached the quarter-finals, along with my training in molecular gastronomy, has further honed my skills and creativity in the kitchen. Holding a diploma in Cuisine with Culinary Management from IEK AKMI Piraeus, I am confident, self-motivated, and equipped with strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
