Before I took an early retirement I worked for a private club, as well as established restaurants and as a high school and college culinary teacher. I have been fortunate enough to cook for many types of clientele in my career as well as celebrities and statesmen at my time as a chef at the Rolling Rock Club. I am proficient at supervising a culinary staff on a daily basis, service personnel, FOH team members and managers. As a professional Chef for years, I have become well versed at BOH management, menu writing, menu development, research and development, product placement, brand marketing, ad design, placement and content. I am all about the food, creativity, customer service and the ability to train others and manage a successful culinary operation. My past positions required that I be up to date on food and catering trends, market trends and culinary happenings. I have been noted as a good communicator and teacher both verbally as well as written, my computer skills are up to date with many of the latest programs and technologies and most Microsoft office programs. My strongest points are food knowledge, using available inventory to make new daily menu items, ability to achieve goals, ability to control food and service consistency and desire to learn with each new directive.
