I have been creating menus and writing recipes for more years than I care to say. My baking demo program while working for Whitsons Culinary Group was written up in Food Management, Food Service East as well as Food Service Director Magazines. While at Whitsons I had the joy of working for my mentor of the past 37 years Greg Godfroy who on my first evaluation said As good a Chef as Bill is; he would make an even better teacher. When Greg left Whitsons I was offered a position to help create a new wholesale Gluten-Free bakery whereat I created their entire initial product lineup including what was deemed "The best gluten-free chocolate chip cookie in the COUNTRY" by the editors of Oprah.....! A little over four years ago I was asked for the third time to return to NYPH to head the culinary team at The Allen Hospital where I am to this day.
