Chef Job in Toronto, Ontario

Head Chef/Kitchen Manager -Location: Haliburton, ON -Contract: June – September (approximately) -Accommodations and Meals can be provided -Deadline for application: June 5, 2022; applications will be considered as they are received Responsibilities -Create food menu for kids and counselors each week of 10 week camp program -Prepare meals for up to 100 kids and counselors each meal -Ensure all meals are cooked and served on time -Ensure Kitchen staff completes all duties -Maintain kitchen hygiene, manage food storage upon delivery -Communicate with the Director about food/inventory ordering each week -Ensure all food allergy needs are met for kids/counselors with allergies -Ensure proper cleanliness of kitchen and covid-19 protocols are followed by all kitchen staff Qualifications -Must be 18 -Experience cooking a variety of meals -Experience working in a kitchen environment -Good teamwork and organizational skills -Flexible , friendly and reliable -Food handlers -WHMIS -Vulnerable sector check Contract length: 3 months
