About Us: At Voss Events, we are a multidisciplinary creative agency specializing in event design and production, promotions, tour management, talent management, influencer relations and content creation. Our team builds unique share-worthy experiences for brands and consumers through lifestyle, entertainment and nightlife programs. About The Supper Club: Guests are immersed within the performance immediately upon entry as they explore an interactive pathway leading to the supper club.The sets and interactions change based upon the current program we are running which keeps the concept fresh and customers returning for more. After exploring our immersive pathway, guests arrive in a classic supper club inspired by old New York and Vegas showrooms of the 1950s. Handcrafted cocktails and classic American cuisine is served. Decor, live music and continued immersive elements are updated seasonally to reflect the current program. The evening culminates with a one hour variety show of acrobatics, burlesque, comedy, dance and unique acts. The performances are narrated by a MC who weaves the entire evening into a cohesive storyline. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. As the creative leader, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen's daily operations, crafting unique dishes that enhance our guests' dining experience, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. Responsibilities: -Develop innovative and appealing menus that reflect the restaurant’s culinary direction while considering seasonal availability of ingredients. -Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation, ensuring efficient workflow and top-quality dish execution. -Manage inventory levels and order supplies while keeping cost in line with the budget. -Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with local regulations and restaurant policies. -Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. -Collaborate with management and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless service experience. -Manage staffing levels and schedule kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage. -Handle any issues related to food quality or service promptly and professionally. -Stay informed about current culinary trends and techniques and incorporate this knowledge into menu offerings. Qualifications: -Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or in a similar leadership role in the culinary field. -Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. -Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills. -A culinary arts diploma or equivalent experience is preferred. -Creative with a keen eye for detail. -Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. -A passion for food and cooking.
