Chef Job in San Francisco, California

We are a cozy cafe/wine bar located on Nob Hill. The cafe is small, but we are very busy and there is always something to do. REQUIREMENTS: - Responsible, organized, energetic, flexible, work well in a fast-moving environment, independent, and take direction well from management. - You must be quick on your feet, and have excellent customer service skills. - We are looking for someone who takes initiative and responsibility. DELI CHEF/BARISTA POSITION (with the opportunity for advancement) Please note: This is NOT a barista only position! - We have a part time position available that could possibly lead into a full time shift leader position. - Looking for a deli chef/barista. If you are not willing to work both sides, this is not the job for you. - Food preparation experience is a plus. Preferably you have worked with food at a deli or in a busy restaurant. - You will open or close the deli, prepare sandwiches, salads and breakfast items and prep for the next shift. Please note, we do not have a full kitchen. The deli is in the front area of the cafe. -Besides working the deli, your job will also include: making coffee drinks, providing exceptional customer service, cash handling, delivering food to the tables, putting deliveries away, and assisting in all required areas. SHIFTS: We have morning and evening shifts available, during the week and at the weekend. Preferably we are looking for somebody with a flexible schedule. INTERESTED?
