Chef in Poland, Maine

To whom it may Concern, I am interested in the summer camp cook position you have available for the 2017 summer season. I am a highly experienced chef, a traveler that has yet to see the New England area, and a hardworking father of four. I am currently seeking work in the area to add to my life journey and use my talents to bring good food to children. Please consider my resume, and I can provide references upon request. I have over twenty years of experience working in commercial kitchens, starting as a dish washer and working my way up to a chef. I have experience working as a summer camp chef/ head cook, and I am adept at cooking for special needs diets. I am glatt kosher trained, and a creative chef by nature. If my food is not being talked about, then I’m not doing my job right. I am a traveler. I have been to 42 states of the US, and I’m hoping to add to that experience. I have only had the pleasure of seeing the lower New England states, but I’m hoping this opportunity will aid me in seeing the rest. If room and board are an option, I would like to hear about them, but if not, I will find a way to make it work. I have an RV, and travel money set aside. All I need is a job to go to, and a place to use my talents. I am a father of four, and I’m hoping to have more. I love kids, the hope in their eyes and the ability to see the future as something to make a difference in, always spark joy within me. I love working in the summer camp environment, and I look forward to doing that once again. So often food is the last thing mentioned by campers, but I try to adjust my menu to keep the kids happy yet healthy. I do not aim for rock bottom food prices; I aim to make food that keeps the campers wanting to come back for more. They are my customers, and I treat them as such. I raise my own children as if anything is possible, and I wish to instill such a future in other children as well. If they are not told they cannot do it, then maybe they can. I would also like to keep them healthy enough to make that future a reality.
