Hello, my name is Teiya and I come from a lineage of home cooks who excel in flavors that soothe the soul and excite the tongue. I enjoy expressing through many creative outlets and cooking is one that is part of my DNA. I only consider "one-off" possibilities because my attention and energy is heavily utilized when I engage in an event, so I need ample down-time to recover and integrate. I also am involved with many other aspects of my life that are not food focused. I also do not desire to cook for others as a vocation, but as an expression of my inherent gift to intuitively prepare food for others. I have cooked in many different capacities for various farms and restaurants, as well as for special events and occasions over 23 years. I prefer smaller parties to work with. I will clean up as I go as well as all that I used to cook, after the meals are prepared. Depending on pay, I will consider loading the dishwasher post meal. You will feel considered, intrigued and delighted after a meal.
