am seeking a part-time or per diem position with benefits that would be able to utilize my skills and knowledge sets acquired over the last 30 years in the culinary and hospitality industry. The reason for the interest in part-time over full time is based on my decision to continue giving back to young people through a charitable organization. My skills include finance, budget, food safety, staff training, health-wellness, recipe/menu development as well as menu-concept development. Over the years my passion has always been around how food can not only generate revenue but, (produced in a safe environment) can make people feel good. With a well trained staff that is also embedded with purpose to serve their customer (from retail to healthcare) my belief is a culture can be cultivated for great food quality and service in a safe environment. My strategy in identifying a prospective employer for such a privilege is searching for organizations or companies that have a track record of credibility in the food industry sector. This would not only assist in the continuity of my work experience but may also help challenge my analytical abilities to solve problems and produce results. It may also present opportunities to continue learning and growing as a professional.
