‘GREAT GRAPES’ was started in 1998 by Executive Chef Kathleen Delaney, as a select food and wine pairing service for 'in home', high end wine dinners, while I owned and was Executive Chef of Nadine’s restaurant in the West Village, NYC. People wanted fabulous food and wine in their homes. It has expanded, relocated and become a full-service catering company now based in Los Angeles. Event planning and coordinating, private Chef Services, in-home cooking classes, cooking parties and full-service catering are our specialty. I feel food is an art, an expression of love and the culmination of friends and family. ‘Great Grapes’ is a passionate, organic and sustainable catering company serving 2 -400 guests. On a more personal note, I am a Mother, Chef, breast cancer survivor, performer, writer & world traveler. After graduating from Emerson College in Boston, attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hydepark, NY, 20 plus years in Manhattan, Boston and traveling the world- I have learned that food is art, love and fun. Healthy good food feeds the body, soul and I want to share it with you. "Life is too short to eat bad food and drink bad wine!"
