My focus is on health, including Paleo, Keto, Animal-Based, Carnivore, Bulletproof, Whole30, and Auto-Immune Protocol (AIP), which means I typically cook without gluten, refined sugars, and refined seed & vegetable oils. I started with a background in nutrition, certified as a nutritional therapy practitioner, which drove me to get into professional cooking. I offer nutrition consulting as part of my services when requested and then make the food 100% catered towards your goals and needs. While many chefs offer trendy diet menus, I have deep mastery and passion for nutrition and special diets that nobody else can rival. I also have extensive experience cooking for and coaching people with various health conditions such as lyme disease, mold toxicity, celiac, crohn's, SIBO, brain injuries, and various digestive and auto-immune diseases. I am also able to help calculate macros and can assist with weight loss & muscle gain for overall health or for actors needing to be at a goal for on-camera work. All this said, I am also classically trained and can cook "regular" foods as well. I also just like making healthy food taste good, and making healthier versions of your favorite foods. I've traveled all over the world and love finding new foods in new countries and then making a healthier version of them. My clients have ranged from busy families to business executives, Hollywood producers, agents, professional athletes, and actors, as well as some of the wealthiest people in the world. Formerly, I was the Private Executive Chef of Dave Asprey's 40 Years of Zen, a ultra high-end brain training meditation retreat. I've also been head chef for high net-worth private family households, managing their kitchens and other chefs. I have a bachelor's degree from University of Washington, an Associate's degree from Seattle Culinary Academy, and am proficient in kitchen conversational Spanish. I lived in Seattle my entire life until 2020 when I moved to Los Angeles. I have also worked as a private travel chef in places all over the world, including 5 weeks in Thailand! I am currently offering meal prep drop-offs, part time chef service, event catering, and cooking lessons.
