We'll prepare delicious healthy meals and offer decadence in moderation. Meet Renee: I am a native Baltimorean and a natural artist in many forms. My earliest memories of cooking are from the age nine years old. I love cooking and I've always challenged myself to prepare restaurant quality food at home. During the pandemic my talents served me well. Many began to request whole pans of my delectable dishes. My hobby turned to a virtual business and Café Renee was born. Meet Shonda: I’ve been baking since I was old enough to hold a whisk and learned while baking with my great-grandmother. For the majority of my life, I’ve kept to baking for family, friends, and personal enjoyment. In 2018 I opened my custom bakery, Cake Mix. The jubilation that I feel when I see a customer’s face light up at the sight of their cake or when I receive a text or DM that the cake surpassed all their expectations is absolutely the best feeling in the world. The Collaboration As close friends it only made sense to combine our culinary styles. Café Rene and Cake Mix began to produce a medley of healthy food options and desserts. Our motto is, moderation is key. Ashe, which means, the power to make things happen and produce change, also, may it be so, is now our joint food experience name and love. Ashe Café and Bakery offers a variety of healthier entrees as well as desserts that taste as good as they look. We look forward to serving you!
