I have been cooking for 15 years (once I was 15), and after graduating culinary school in Canada decided to move to NYC. I worked for many great New York restaurants such as momofuku and Paowalla, learning to use the great produce from the farmers markets and meats from the amazing butchers in the city. I am currently a private chef for a family of 6 cooking lunch and dinner for anywhere from 2-20 people including wine pairings and creating specialty cocktails to really pull the evening together.
