To say my husband and I were “eager” to experience our first vegetarian meal prepared by Private Chef, May Eudora, is an understatement. I felt relief knowing I wouldn’t have to prepare another boring dinner and my husband was giddy he wouldn’t have to consume said dinner. When May’s smiling face appeared at our door along with multiple platters of food, our kitchen quickly filled with delectable aromas coming from vegetarian breakfast burritos, fragrant Spanish rice, hearty Ethiopian potatoes and tangy black beans. I’ve never had tofu as light and airy (almost egg-like) as the ones in the burrito and the flavor was kicked up a notch with the spicy “sausage”. With a full stomach, I sat back and watched my husband inhale his meal while nodding and saying “Yes, this is good. This is really good!” Ample leftovers sit in our fridge, reassuring me I won’t be donning my apron anytime soon. For us, this is the perfect match as the price is reasonable and the food is both healthy and delicious. We happily anticipate next week’s meal.
